Last Friday, Pritec Maskin went to Norway together with customers to test drive the Hurricane planer set at a military airport outside Trondheim. The planer in question is mounted on a Volvo L90 and has been used, among other things, to build an airport and a fire training ground for Norway's newly purchased fighter aircraft of the model F35.
Pritec Maskin would like to thank Kjell Lintho from Lintho Maskin for being able to make this trip possible, we also want to thank Ludvig for a nice traveling companion and congratulations on the purchase of your own Hurricane.
Are you also interested in planing equipment from AP Machinebouw or want to see the Hurricane planer up close? Then be sure to meet us at the AP Machinebouw stand at Bauma. The booth number is FS 1309/2 and we at Pritec Maskin will be there 8-11 April.
Planer attachment for mounting on wheel loaders, mini machines, track loaders or tractors etc. AP's Twister, Tornado and Hurricane are used to adjust the top layer on e.g. roads, cycle paths, parking lots etc
AP Twister is available in three different sizes for machines between 1.8-6 tons. The planer blades measure between 1600-2800 mm.
AP Tornado fits machines between 4.5-10 tons. You can choose between three different sizes of the planer blade, 2200 mm, 2600 mm and 3000 mm.
AP Hurricane is the largest planing attachment from AP. AP Hurricane fits machines between 10-20 tons. You can choose between three different sizes of the planer blade, 3000 mm, 3300 mm or 3600 mm.
The planer is controlled manually, with laser, LPS, GPS, drop sensor or ultrasound, etc.
The advantage of an AP's planers is that they have the same performance as a motor planer but at a much lower price. They are easily mounted on any construction machine and are extremely easy to drive.
These planer attachments are significantly stronger than the competition and weigh up to 6 tons. The rotary tables have double ball bearings of high quality. The Hardox knives are 100-150 mm high and 16 mm thick.
